Many artists view their art as a refuge, a space where they can express their difficult emotions and experiences. Often, these moments stem from challenging times filled with grief, loss, sadness, or darkness. However, their creations illuminate that very darkness and provide a platform to be vulnerable about their feelings, allowing them to express what their words often fail to capture. “Light from Darkness,” BAFFA's Second Annual Members’ Exhibition, will highlight artworks that explore this theme, demonstrating how art serves as a powerful means of discovering light amid life's darkness.
Join us for Light From Darkness - the Multi-Sensory Experience from September 13th to September 28th, from 12-4 pm. These special weekends will include a self-guided, QR-coded, audio experience accessible via your smartphone and earbuds/headphones, inviting you to more deeply explore the minds of the artists and their artworks through music.
