The Storm is Passing Over by Lisa Stanko
Acrylic Painting
24x20
This is the title of a gospel song. In this painting, I am expressing visually what it looks like to me when the storm ( our dark thoughts and struggles ) is moving away. The remnants of thunderous clouds receded, and the light began to shine on the shore once again.
About Lisa Stanko:
Lisa began painting at the age of ten and continued her art education through High School. As an Fine Arts Major in college, she gained inspiration from a diverse combination of classes and informative professors. Learning to look at things differently gave her the freedom to experiment and develop her own unique style. Since 2023, Lisa has participated in countless exhibitions on Long Island, including the Biennial at The Heckscher Museum of Art in 2024. Two solo shows at Daniel Gail Sotheby's and also at the Copiague Memorial Library.
