CHORUS
The Bay Area Chorus was founded in 1968. Its membership typically numbers 50-60 singers from every walk of life. Many of our chorus members are professional musicians, but most are not. While our musical abilities vary, we all share a love of music and singing.
Under the leadership of our conductor, Martha Campanile, we are assured that we will perform various musical styles and be challenged by varying difficulty levels. Martha has been our conductor since 1995; under her leadership, the chorus performs three concerts a year along with several “special music” events.
The chorus has performed hundreds of pieces of music covering various genres, including classical, jazz, baroque, romantic, spirituals, folk, pop, movie, and show tunes.
For sure, we always have fun learning our new music and love singing together.
The chorus rehearses at Bayport United Methodist Church in Bayport on Wednesday nights, beginning at 7:30 pm. Rehearsals for the 2022 concert season start on September 7th.

Members do not need to audition. They must love singing and be open to learning new music. If you are interested in joining us, don't hesitate to contact our Chorus Manager, Donna Pace, at chorusmanager@baffa.org.
