Moonlight Lake by Elaine Whitehouse
Acrylic Painting
11x14
I consider the place or setting of an artwork to be of greatest significance. The place determines the mood, the history, the story, or an event, and can have intense personal meaning. My submission, Moonlight Lake, evokes a mood of darkness as well as mystery, as moonlight emerges into the darkness of the lake, sensual, spiritual and provocative.
