The night is mysterious and magical. I used glitter to show the lightning bug effects. I noticed a woman’s profile in the clouds when I finished! A surprise!
 
About Bernice Corbin:
My love of art started early pre school. I’ve been painting and drawing since I can remember. I am self taught, but I’ve taken a few classes over the years. 

Actually I wanted to go to art school, but I had academic scholarship and had to put myself through school. I chose nursing as a career, but always considered my artwork meditative and therapeutic. 
 
I worked with designers over the years, and eventually started my own Decorative Art business. I painted murals and faux finishes. Client referrals were keeping me busy and I never needed to advertise. 

I finally dissolved my business the year before Covid. I’ve been studio painting since. I’ve lately been enjoying painting pet portraits.
