BAFFA Art Gallery presents its second annual Members Group Exhibition, LIGHT FROM DARKNESS - a collection of artworks by over fifty local artists, featuring sculpture, paintings, photography, mixed media, and other handcrafted artwork, judged by James and Margaret Schultz. 

Many artists view their art as a refuge, a space where they can express their difficult emotions and experiences. Often, these moments stem from challenging times filled with grief, loss, sadness, or darkness. However, their creations illuminate that very darkness and provide a platform to be vulnerable about their feelings, allowing them to express what their words often fail to capture. Artworks will explore this theme, demonstrating how art serves as a powerful means of discovering light amid life's darkness.

LIGHT FROM DARKNESS will also feature a multi-sensory experience where guests can visit the gallery and listen to the music that inspired, motivated, or tells the story of the artists' works. To participate in this experience, please arrive with your smartphone and either earbuds or headphones.
