ABOUT THE SHOW:
The Bell Street Artists have been exhibiting together for nearly 50 years. They are a small group of 10 artists who meet each month to discuss their work, ideas, and interests. Sharing and discussing their work with one another helps them learn, grow, and see their art from new perspectives. Over the years, this ongoing exchange has created a strong sense of community and encouraged each artist to continue developing their individual practice.
BELL STREET ARTISTS BIO:
What began as a small gathering of artists has grown into a lasting creative community of ten artists who meet each month to look, listen, question, and learn from one another. After nearly five decades, the Bell Street Artists continue to value the power of coming together. Their monthly conversations foster curiosity, encourage growth, and remind us that making art is not only an individual journey, but also one enriched by community, friendship, and the willingness to see through another artist’s eyes. The Bell Street Artists' artwork is individually driven, shaped by their own experiences, interests, and ways of seeing. Yet the conversations they share have become an important part of their artistic practice. Through thoughtful discussion and honest exchange, the Bell Street Artists challenge one another to look beyond what is familiar and to see their work—and the world around them—from new perspectives.
