Guest directed by Carl Bettendorf, the BAFFA Symphony Orchestra presents "Enchanted Overtures & Epic Flights" at James Wilson Young Middle School, Bayport, on June 6th at 4:00 pm. Doors open at 3:30 pm.
"Enchanted Overtures & Epic Flights" is a musical adventure from waltzes to Dragons. Join us as we explore Romantic overtures and popular marches, on a journey from the fantastic fairy worlds of Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Weber's Oberon to the exuberant music from How to Train Your Dragon.
Children are invited to come dressed in fairytale costumes. For the final song, they can show off their enchanted costumes in front of the orchestra and help conduct (if their parents follow us on socials).
