Orchestra Director

The Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts (BAFFA) has an opening for an Orchestra Director for the 2022-2023 season. Up to three finalists will be invited to rehearse the orchestra and present a concert.

Splendor in the Glass

The BAFFA Art Gallery welcomes back the photographs of Carole Z. AmodeoSplendor in the Glass is the photographer’s newest collection of photos. Taking inspiration from a blown glass exhibit at the Suffolk County Historical Society Museum in Riverhead (Silverbrook Art Glass Works, 1943-1976), the photographer has created a series of magical photos using her I-phone.


The exhibit can be viewed at the BAFFA Gallery on October 8, 9, 15, and 16 from Noon to 4 PM. An artist’s reception will be held on October 9, from 2 to 4 PM.

Rick Wenner Portraits and Pop-up Studio

New to the BAFFA Art Gallery is award-winning professional portrait photographer Rick Wenner. His “professional work centers on entertainment, editorial, and advertising projects for notable clients such as HBO” and other well-known media outlets. Rick Wenner: Portraits can be viewed at the Gallery on October 22, 23, 29, and 30 from Noon to 4:00 PM. In addition to the exhibit, Mr. Wenner will hold a Pop-Up Portrait Studio at the Gillette House during viewing hours on the 23, 29, and 30
