and Friends of BAFFA - welcome to our new website where we hope to have
answered all of your questions and look forward to keeping you up-to-date
on all of our activities and events.
"It is the mission of the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts, Inc. (BAFFA)
to bring music and fine arts to the students and residents of Long
Island. Through our Symphony Orchestra, Chorus and Art Gallery, we
welcome all members of the community to participate."

The National League of American Pen Women Suffolk
County Branch will be exhibiting their paintings at the BAFFA
Gallery, Gillette House, 47 Gillette Ave., Sayville, NY.
June 5 & 6 and 12 & 13 with an Artist's Reception &
Poetry reading on June 13, 2010. 12-4pm.

"Music for Children and Family" a
concert by The Bay Area Chorus and Bay Area Symphony will be
presented Sunday, June 6th at 3PM in the Bayport-Blue
Point High School on Snedecor Ave. in Bayport. It will
feature Disney songs, introduction to the various instruments
of the orchestra, and active participation by the children in
the audience. Music of Leroy Anderson, Scott Joplin, Aaron
Copland, Georges Bizet and Reinhold Gliere will appeal to
young and old. Children are encouraged to bring along their
favorite stuffed animal. The concert is free, donations
